Megan Tallo

My name is Megan Tallo. I am entering my Sophomore year at Stephen F Austin State University. I am a second year member of the nationally ranked SFA Dance Teams. At SFA, I am studying toward a major in dance with a teaching degree and a minor in math. My current college GPA is 3.912 and because of my GPA, I am also in the Sophomore Scholars program at SFA. After my first semester in college I found a new love in the subject of Math, which I decided on as my minor, and was asked to be a tutor and supplemental instructor for SFA's AARC tutoring department. I am going into my second semester as a supplemental instructor for math and I love teaching students. I have always wanted to be a teacher and after being on my high school dance team for three years and experiencing the roles of an officer and captain, I absolutely love being a leader. This helps me tremendously in the classroom and in dance practice. I hope to one day influence students the way my coaches and professors have done for me in the same manner, by being a coach and professor at the college level.
