Mekayla Campbell

My dream is that I can make the world a better place one person at a time. I am passionate about the health of others both physically and mentally. Upon graduation, I hope to be a nurse that patients feel comfortable talking to. I would love to get to know each and every single one of my patients personally and make them feel welcome. Nursing is a very special field with many opportunities. I am excited to see where this path will take me and I am ready to reach my full potential!

My plan is to attend graduate school at Wright State University when I am finished with my bachelors. I believe in myself and I know that graduate school would be perfect for me! With a masters degree, I will become a nurse practitioner which is the ultimate dream. I want to help people as much as I can. I plan on doing some travel work to other countries to donate some time, perform physical exams, and provide vaccines to less fortunate communities with no access to healthcare. I also have interest in learning a new language to benefit my traveling. I love school and I have many interests, the opportunities are endless!

I love the outdoors! I often enjoy hiking, swimming, biking, even just walking the dogs outside!

I also have a hobby for collecting gentle items for charity. My favorite charity is local, and donates items to people with disabilities. I often get in touch with people locally and will even pick up items to take for them. I personally have donated several bags of things. I love this charity because they will accept clothing, blankets, and shoes! Since I don't have much money for charities (broke college student), this charity is perfect and easy to donate.

I love to read! Reading expands knowledge and I love to learn. I often read books that also have a movie to them. Another hobby, I love going to the movies! I go to one movie just about every week. My movie time with family is the perfect day off from school and work for the week. Everybody deserves a day to relax and rejuvenate!
