About
I am a lifelong learner, motivated by my own personal growth and my generational pursuits when it comes to education. I was the first in my immediate family to achieve a Master’s Degree, now moving the generational gap one step further to become a PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. In my commitment to academia, I hope to further strengthen my leadership abilities by helping contribute to research and adding value to important topics of discussion. As a member of the Honor Society Organization, I hope to foster stronger connections and collaborate with people from different backgrounds, skills and experiences. Being a part of this community allows me to continue to share ideas with others, making a stronger impact, building up moral and cultural values.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My current career path is geared towards organizational, cross-functional, integrating change management and leadership. In the future, I hope to further my path to one day becoming a Chief People Officer (CPO) and pursing other academic pursuits, such as being a professor, to further my passion for continuous learning and helping others see their own potential and reach their own individual achievements.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate school interests include understanding how workplace culture and change exist as two intertwined principles. In part of these academic interests, I would like to understand how organizational change can successfully change (ie. improve, increase) employee engagement towards further growth and development. I would like to operatively challenge successful change initiatives in organizations, pressing to further expand upon how measurements of employee satisfaction and job placement are reviewed. From a cultural standpoint, I would like to learn more about proven strategies for early interventions, particularly focused around employee psychological and emotional safety, those that take place during organizational change. Furthermore, I would like to understand how impactful organizational performance gaps should be considered from the principal or primary viewpoint.
