Volunteering

  • This tournament is a large fishing tournament where proceeds go to the Billfish foundation to preserve large game fish. It takes place in August and is a annual event ran through volunteers. I have done many things for this tournament such as assist with dinning tasks, help with ticket sales, manage electronic needs (electronic payments, keep tract of devices used), set up and take down of tournament, assist with tournament participant payments/registration, manage the participant bucket of goodies from sponsors (preparing these buckets and distribution). I have done this tournament for as long as I can remember and plan to continue my involvement for years to come.

    Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament

  • This tournament is a one day fishing tournament with only women participants, where all proceeds go to breast cancer research and development. This tournament is ran by volunteers, as a volunteer I have assisted in many parts of this tournament such as management of participant goodie bags from sponsors (preparation of bags, distribution of bags), working with donated dinner and desert preparation and distribution, ticket sales and participant registration, decorated bra contest, and much more. This tournament means a lot to me personally and I have helped with it for as long as I can remember. I plan to continue helping with this tournament and even be a participant in it for many years to come.
