About
As a child I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico until the age of thirteen when my parents and I moved to Chicago, Illinois where I went to high school. On my third year as a university student I spent the whole year as an international student in Barcelona, Spain during which time I was able to visit other parts in Europe. After the amazing eye-opening experience while abroad, I am currently finishing my Tourism Management courses at UIUC. My passion for exceptional customer service originates since my time in Puerto Rico and visiting nearby islands in the Caribbean but also moving to Chicago by experiencing a new culture and studying abroad have all made an impact on how I view the world. One of the things I love the most is paying close attention to detail and types of organization strategies. As the day of graduation approaches, the implementation of all my acquired skills throughout my college career will be put to the test. Some of my areas of interest include Aquatics Sports, Wedding Planning and Cruise Ship Management (or Customer Service). It is because of UIUC’s Tourism Management courses that I feel that the opportunities and possibilities are endless.
