About

Being a Psychology Associate who practices Reform Judaism I am a firm believer that the more one encourages change for the better the more he or she is blessed in his or her own personal quality of life, I immensely enjoy working in the mental health field. For instance, the mental health field helps me understand the dynamics of family structure, and the tools necessary for optimum recovery, such as increasing appropriate communication, learning family backgrounds through developing ancestry charts, and verbalizing the reasons that lead up to personally specific diagnoses in group and family meetings lead by the counselor. Furthermore, I have experience working for families whose children exhibit behavioral disorders such as attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism, oppositional defiant disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, and borderline personality disorder to name a few. Coupled with my strong academic background and experience I believe this will give me an opportunity to acquire new skills and refine the skills I have acquired to address the unique needs of patients. I believe my educational background and professional experience combined with the passion I have for helping a wide range of clients to effectively manage their challenges pertaining to their mental health diagnosis are essential factors that will be useful when working with clients. I'm also looking to be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Licensed Behavior Specialist (LBS), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), as I'm currently a BCBA-Trainee, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Career goal

I've completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from Purdue University Global on 07/21/2026 to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's Pathway 2 requirements before that option closes on December 31st of 2031. Therefore, I'd like to find work as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and afterwards accumulate the required 1,000 hours of supervised work experience to become a Licensed Behavior Specialist. Afterwards, I'll be looking to continue work in ABA as either a BHT or RBT to complete my 2,000 hours of supervised experience from a BCBA to sit for the BCBA exam. Afterwards, I'll be seeking to be a complete my clinical 600 hours of graduate-level internship course(s), accumulate the 3,000 clinical and supervision hours and sit for the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam required to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and I'd also like to be Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

I'm looking into applying for Doctoral programs in Marriage and Family Therapy and Psychology.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy reading, watching some of my favorite movies/television shows going for walks and playing various sports and video games.
