Goals and interests
- Career goal
I have the job I have always dreamed of having - After working directly with students, first as a special educator and then as a teacher of students with visual impairments, I now am able to train new professionals who are entering the field. Though I miss much of the direct contact with public school students and families I am now able to expand my reach and impact to build the field through quality, caring, and proficient professionals.
- Graduate school interests
Career path of professionals in the field of visual impairment. Leadership. Literacy, Distance Education, Training in Visual Impairment, phenomonologial studies of experiences of persons with progressive vision loss and those students who were blind or visually impaired in the public school setting.
