About
Hi, my name is Michael Pratt, but all of my life I have been going by my middle name, Peyton. I will be a sophomore at Northeastern State University in Oklahoma. Initially, I started attending NSU to play on the men's basketball team as a preferred walk-on. In my year playing for them, I was a starter as a freshman and by the start of my second semester, I was fortunate enough to receive half of a scholarship. For Spring Break, I was able to go to Guatemala for a missions trip with an organization called Campus Christian Fellowship which I am now the vice president. This missions trip opened my eyes to the struggles around the world and gave me a greater purpose in life. Since then, I have quit playing the sport that I have played since I was 6 and became more focused on doing the will of God which is showing his love to all of His people.

I plan on attending law school following my graduation. The three schools I am looking at are the University of Oklahoma, the University of Tulsa, and Stanford University. My main focus will either be corporate or tax law. With this law degree, I will use it to help Native American tribes and eventually have my own practice.
