About

My name is Michaela Patton and I am a Junior Psychology major at Oklahoma State University. I am also on the varsity softball team at OSU playing short stop. I have a passion for the field of Psychology, especially when it comes to children and adolescents. My specific interests include chronic pain, canine assisted therapy, the autism spectrum, encouraging creativity as a form of therapy, and research. I am also interested in applying all of these interests into minority groups and underprivileged families. I plan on finishing my Bachelors of Science at OSU while also completing my four years of sports eligibility on the softball team. After, I want to apply to a competitive graduate program where I may choose to spend some of my time studying abroad. When it comes to the material I am studying, I am very excited about it and cannot wait to keep learning more!
