About

I go to Salt Lake Community College and I am on the Teacher Recruitment Scholarship. I work as a nanny for an autistic boy and his younger sister who is not disabled. I almost graduated from Bountiful High School with an honors cord, but was .2 GPA below the cutoff. But, I graduated with exemplary citizenship. My first semester of college, I never missed a single day of class, while working, sick, and trying to keep up with 16 credit hours of homework.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I want to start off with a Bachelor's of Severe Special Education. Then get another license with Mild to Moderate Special Education. Then, I want to get licenses in Hearing and Visual Impairments. That way I can help any child in the special education program. But, maybe after I have a classroom, maybe I can travel from school to school working with many different kids in the district that I will work in.

Graduate school interests

I plan on transferring to the University of Utah to finish my undergraduate degree in Severe Special Education and continue schooling to get my doctorate at the University of Utah.

Outside the classroom

helping those with disabilities, singing, guitar, reading, studying passionate subjects in school.
