About

I am 21 years old and I am currently a student at Montclair State University. I recently graduated from Ocean County College in May with an Associates Degree. I grew up in a small town with my three siblings and parents. I have an older sister and one younger sister and brother. When I was a young child, my older sister and I would play "school", I would be the teacher and she would be the student. Ever since then, that is where my passion for teaching had developed. I would even play "school" with my younger sister as well, my parents would buy us Math and English work books and from there I would have my sisters do the work. Till this day my desire for wanting to teach has not changed. While I was attending Ocean County College, I had taken an Introduction To Special Education class and from there is when I saw a different perspective of teaching. I had to do 30 hours of observation and observe a special education class. From there on is when I decided I wanted to become an elementary Special Education Teacher. The amount of attention and love those children needed was incredible, I loved helping them and I believe I have what it takes. My dedication and motivation comes from those children, teaching is my passion and I will do whatever is necessary to fulfill my dream.
