About
Hello, my name is Minnie Martinez. Over the years, it has been a privilege to learn how to become a leader for such inspiring and ambitious people in a community that we often do not feel supported in. The lovely people I have interacted with in the Chicago Botanic Gardens and Theatre, have been my motivation to create a sense of understanding by producing an environment of joyful learning. By the use of determination and collaboration, I believe it is possible to make a meaningful change to the world as this is the key to community and growth.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended job path is to be able to produce impactful theatrical sets in order to add a further layer of illusion to the educational entertainment that is theatre. Creating a memorable experience of each play I participate in, produces a more in-depth recall of the themes in each play.
- Outside the classroom
Some of my hobbies include creating art in order to dabble around in other mediums so that I may become more knowledgeable on them. In addition, I love hiking as I think it is important to appreciate nature and the environment. Lastly, exploring new places and what other people have created all around the world.
