Goals and interests
- Career goal
I hope to become a teacher of English someday, but I also have goals to become an Editor for books and open my own coffee shop.
- Graduate school interests
I am definitely interested in continuing my English education in Grad School. Before, I focused on English Education, but I might return to focusing more on English Literature and Writing. Reading and writing are two focus areas that I am particularly passionate about, and, thus, also makes me quite interested in linguistics. I should hope to pursue something along those lines alongside other, smaller passions I have, like painting, cooking, barista-ing, and book reviewing.
- Outside the classroom
I enjoy reading in my free time, as well as writing fiction. Video games are another joy of mine, but I am quite picky about the ones I spend money on. They must have rich gameplay and story elements for them to be enjoyable for me and I particularly prefer RPGs over all else. I have also recently picked up knitting, but can only, so far, knit scarves. Recently, I have also started a Youtube channel where I talk about reading, writing, and books.
