honor roll

Throughout my four years of highschool I have managed to maintain a GPA above a 4.5. This has allowed me to earn awards for my academic achievements every single one of the years that I have been enrolled in high school.
Seal of Biliteracy

I received the announcement that I had earned the Seal of Biliteracy. This prestigious award is especially significant to me because I am so proud of my Hispanic heritage.
Student of the Month November 2022

I also earned Student of the Month in November of 2022 for the character skill of focus.

Outside the classroom: My hobbies include traveling, reading, and baking. Whenever I have free time, I will bake! My stand up mixer is my prized possession. It gives me satisfaction to fill the kitchen with the smell of delectable desserts. Then, I enjoy sharing my baked goodies with others. It is a way of showing my love to others who have done a kindness toward me or to just randomly give a personal homemade gift. My banana bread and mini fruit tarts are family and friends favorites!

I have volunteered at J&R Taxes. My assistance includes shredding documents, organizing and making receipts, and several other tasks.

Annually, I also participate in the community charity organization Letters for Santa. The event I love participating in most is Letter for Santa. This organization is linked with schools. Children make wish lists of things they would like for Christmas. Teachers and students go shopping. We pick out an outfit and a toy for each child, so they can receive something for Christmas. There’s a warm tender feeling in my heart while reading the lists.
