About

Hello, My name is Miri Yoon and I am a nursing student at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. I am currently in my sophomore year at UWM and my graduation date is May 2019. Since I turned 17, I wanted to be a nurse; I fell in love with the way nurses' express sincere kindness and genuine care for the patients. I am a Korean national, and decided to study nursing in the U.S. for advanced education that nursing students receive.

I have lived in many different places: Korea, the U.S, and Australia. Living in different places broadened my view, and made me be more interested in people in developing countries and minorities who don't have access to health care when they need it. With my knowledge about nursing, I want to give them medical help after obtaining nursing degree.
