About

I am a Wildlife Veterinary Medicine major at Mississippi State University, where I am studying the relationships between wild and domesticated animals. My passion is to ensure the safety of human landowners and pet owners while up-keeping the well-being of their animal counterparts. As a wildlife conservationist, my future goals include managing species and their habitats while instructing others to do so as well. Yet, as a future veterinarian, I plan to complete my wildlife biologist degree, and then, enter into vet school to learn to care individual animals of both wild and domesticated species. After I have completed the requirements of vet school, I plan to partnership with veterinarian clinics and wildlife refuges, teaching, instructing, and caring for animals.

Goals and interests

Graduate school interests

After receiving a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Veterinary Medicine, I plan to attend a vet school studying both large and small animal practice, with a concentration of wildlife as well. Most likely, I will attend Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in hopes to obtain a D.V.M. or a Vet Tech license to practice in the state of Mississippi. However, I am also interested in Wildlife Conservation Management, and will practice this on occasions for clients.

Outside the classroom

Since most of my time is filled with studying, extracurricular activities, and working, I am not able to have many personal hobbies on a regular basis. However, I do find time to enjoy the following:
1. Practicing Piano or Guitar
2. Looming
3. Painting/Drawing
4. Researching Current Topics
5. Training Animals
