Mokena Cravenock

Hello, my name is Mokena Cravenock, but everyone calls me Mo. I grew up homeschooled in rural New Mexico. Due to my upbringing, I feel I have a unique perspective that is focused heavily on personal responsibility. Unfortunately, growing up, I did not have many opportunities to expand my academic and leadership involvement; however, now that I'm attending New Mexico State University, I have become very involved on campus.
I'm a Communication Studies major with the prospect of minoring in International Studies. I joined my hall council at the beginning of my first semester and have had a wonderful time working to improve the on-campus housing environment, particularly in my hall. I also had the incredible opportunity to attend 2022's IACURH conference as NMSU's only first-year delegate.
Outside of academics and leadership, I love playing and listening to music, rock climbing, traveling, and playing video games with friends.
