About
I am a BSN nursing student in a fast track concurrent enrollment program. I am completing my associates degree in nursing at Scottsdale Community college (GPA 3.514) and will be graduating December of 2020. Meanwhile, I am completing my bachelor's degree in nursing online at Upper Iowa University (GPA 4.0) and will be graduating July of 2021. I also have a B.A. in Spanish from Arizona State University.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I have been an EMT for almost four years and am currently employed as an EMT-Firefighter. I provide emergency and non-emergency medical support to all crews and personnel on forest fires across the country. After obtaining my BSN, I would like to complete a backwards RN-Paramedic bridge program, work in the ER or ICU, and eventually become an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Emergency Room Nurse Manager. Throughout my career I intend on furthering my education, gaining leadership skills, and fulfilling various supervisor and managerial roles until I reach my goal.
- Graduate school interests
I would like to obtain my Emergency Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Eventually, I want to obtain my DNP in order to land a highly skilled and advanced leadership role in nursing.
- Outside the classroom
I love to go camping and hiking with my dog and my husband. I picked up photography about a year ago and it has since become a great passion of mine. I enjoy seeing new movies, running, swimming, reading and playing softball.
