Member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Society 2015
I was accepted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society after my first year at the University of Connecticut. It is an honor for those students in the top 20% of their class, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
While I do not have a specific job I am currently trying to pursue, I have loved working with children for as long as I can remember. Aiding them positively in their development not only makes them happier individuals and later adults, but better, more caring, and more loving human beings. Their families play a huge part in their development and growth, so as of now I would like to have a private practice in the future where I work with families on building better relationships and decreasing conflict and stress.
- Graduate school interests
I am currently interested in applying to Yale to continue my studies in Human Development and Family Studies. I am not sure what my career path would be, but I am open to new and exciting possibilities to help improve the life primarily within families, but in communities as well.
- Outside the classroom
I love arts and crafts, photography, and playing my ukulele and piano. These have always been outlets to express my creativity and uplift my spirit when I have had a rough day. My grandpa is a fantastic photography, so everything I have learned comes from him!
