Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am very interested in going out and making an impact and a career where I could perform research studies, catalog wild or plant life, and perform laboratory duties.
Regarding playing to my strengths, I am good at prioritizing and organizing information. In a career field such as STEM, this is very valuable as it helps one to get the most relevant information out there where it can be utilized. The sciences are also all about facts and reason, so in prioritizing the most critical points, action can be taken more quickly and thus get better results in urgent situations. In the long run, I hope to be in a career where my strengths and love of science can come together seamlessly and allow me to help the planet in a meaningful way. This would best be addressed by getting a solid foundation with a bachelor's degree in ecology or sustainability sciences and then progressing into the workforce.- Outside the classroom
