About
My name is Morgan Cummings and I am a first year graduate student at Eastern Kentucky University. I have previously worked in a rehabilitation hospital where I found my passion in speech therapy with the adult population. Therefore, I am studying Communication Disorders to work with individuals who have impairments with speech, language, cognition, feeding, swallowing and so much more! I received a Bachelor of Sciences in Communication Disorders at Marshall University in West Virginia.

Served as one of four students selected by faculty to represent Eastern Kentucky University’s Communication Disorders program at the Kentucky Speech-Hearing Association Student TEAM Event.

Marshall University’s National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association Chapter President
Being the voice for the chapter, scheduling/leading monthly meetings, being available for any unforeseen circumstances, and approving all decisions being made regarding events, financials, and etc. of the chapter.
Goals and interests
- Career goal
I hope to work with the geriatric population and specialize in swallowing disorders and cognition disorders. I want to help individuals get back to a life they once had!
- Graduate school interests
I am attending grad school at Eastern Kentucky University for Communication Disorders where I hope to get as much experience with the geriatric population as possible.

I love hiking, fishing, and shopping!
