My life’s goal is to help those who cannot speak for themselves; animals. I’m a junior at Lagrange High School and my pathway is zoology. 4H has helped me realize how much I desired and liked helping others and especially animals. I started 4H in fifth grade and continued until my ninth grade year, I’ve collected and earned many certificates and awards for a myriad of things over those years. I have a multitude of animals even including horses and a ferret! This summer I began volunteering at a zoo for 30 hours a week and I absolutely love everyday of it. After many months, I’m now the nursery manager and I help aid others all over in the zoo. Volunteering at this zoo has helped me realize this is the career I’d do everyday of my life with no doubt in my mind.
