About

Nice to meet you! I'm an undergraduate student passionate about solving problems at the intersection of mathematics, business, and emerging technologies. I was born in Seoul but followed my family to California in 1st grade, staying there for 7 years before returning to Korea and graduating Korea International School in 2019. I go to Duke University and finished my first year there before the coronavirus hit, where I have then taken a leave of absence to complete my military service in Korea. I returned back to Duke in January 2023, and I plan to graduate Duke in 2025.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My professional aspirations are focused on innovation and emerging technologies. My primary goal is to build and lead a startup, using my entrepreneurial passion for disruptive solutions. Alternatively, I'm drawn to being an early contributor in cutting-edge research fields such as quantum computing, where I can help shape the future of technology. I'm also open to roles in established tech sectors, particularly in data science or software engineering, where I can apply my technical skills to solve complex problems and drive technological advancement.

Graduate school interests

I may likely go to graduate school to pursue a stronger foundation of my technical knowledge. This will most likely depend on the financial aid I receive from my postgraduate programs.
