Muluken Erkihun

A highly motivated medical doctor with over 7 years of extensive clinical experience and a strong
background in medical education at a leading academic hospital. Passionate about addressing
health disparities and improving community health outcomes, I am driven to pursue a Master of
Public Health (MPH) degree to enhance my ability to develop and implement effective public
health strategies.
Recognized for academic excellence with multiple awards, including a full-tuition scholarship
from Johns Hopkins University in April 2024. Due to unforeseen visa issues, I could not enroll
in the MPH program then. This experience, while challenging, has only strengthened my resolve
and commitment to advancing public health. I am now reapplying to continue my journey and
leverage my clinical expertise and academic background to develop and implement effective
public health strategies to advance population health through evidence-based practices and
innovative health programs.
