About
Hey for those who are reading, my name is Naasirah Williams I currently attend Broward college as a freshman. One of my major goals in life is to impact the lives of people, being the change in my generation, and most importantly become a role model to young girls or African American women. life is like a dream that never ends, embarks are emotional, spiritual, and beauty in one picture. life will give individual lessons and experience to help an individual relate to others who are going through tough times. I've had incidents that may be tough for a person to handle but I will not look at my struggle as a downfall but a victory because I overcame it. standing strong and feeling strong may be difficult at times but always look ahead to imagine how many people are depending on you. being said, always look at the positive sides to every situation. we are given one life to live our full potential because society tries to limit our resources of becoming too successful. :)

- Career goal
As a little girl, i always loved putting a smile on a person's face and making them see the beauty within themselves. becoming a plasic surgeon is reconstruction the body into what the human eyes wants see. my goal is to become a plastic surgeon in my mid 20's it takes 12 to 15 years to be a plastic surgeon. The requirements are:
- obtaining a bachelors degree in a pre-med major (biology or chemistry)
- after accomplishing a bachelors degree program, i must earn a M.D ( Doctor of Medicine) or D.O ( Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
- 4 years of education and training. (medical school)
- 5-6 years of residency
- must pass mulitiple of examinations to work as a surgeon
- fellowship training ( specialize in a field where im intended to work in.)
-lastly, a certificate through the american board of plastic surgery. :)Once im in my field, giving back to the community and the deaf culture will be my priorty. before medical school ill be taking american sign language class to further more improve my communication if i incounter a deaf individual.
- Graduate school interests
My grad school goal is to volunteer at a local hospital and also become an intern to further my career as a plastic surgeon. In the years to come, I will apply what I have learned, continue to work hard. My main goal is to accomplish my long term goals in the medical field to obtain a successful career and opportunity to help others.
