About

I' am currently enrolled as a Sophomore at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) trying to achieve a bachelors degree in business administration. Currently at UIW I am part of Cardinal Community Leaders Cohort 2017 we focus in encouraging students to get involved with their communities through setting the example of volunteering at least 2 hours a week in a non profit organization. Instead of volunteering I decided to do an internship at a non profit organization called Martinez Street Women's Center. There my responsibility is too assist educators in a after school program call Girl Zone Program at Pershing Elementary School. I assist them with taking attendance, passing out activities, input in a lesson, chaperone the young ladies through the school. Also, in a another day I assist them with paperwork, input data excel, organize paperwork, or any duties that may need assistance with at the moment. The second, organization I am involved with is The Cardinal Latina Mentoring Program. This organization focus on helping me to stay in the right track towards success in my academic years in UIW.
