About

I am a quantum computing graduate student with a background in computer science and AI and currently interning at IonQ, where I am getting hands-on experience with hybrid circuits and the architecture behind real quantum systems. My current focus is on quantum error correction and how we might use AI tools, like machine learning or LLMs, to help quantum computers become more stable and scalable. I’m someone who is deeply curious and driven by the idea of turning big ideas into real, working technology. Quantum computing is still an emerging field, and I am excited to be part of it as it grows.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I hope to work in a space where research meets real-world impact, ideally contributing to the development of scalable and practical quantum computing systems. Whether that’s in a research lab, an advanced tech company, or a collaborative academic-industry setting, I want to help build quantum technologies that move beyond theory and into application.

Graduate school interests

I'm currently working toward a Master of Professional Studies in Quantum Computing at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am especially interested in quantum error correction and how we can use tools from AI, like large language models, to make quantum systems more stable and reliable. I am excited about research that blends classical computing with quantum theory, and I am considering continuing on to a Ph.D. to dive even deeper into these areas.

Outside the classroom

I love spending time outdoors—hiking is one of my favorite ways to reset and get inspired. I'm also really into science and tech beyond the classroom, so I enjoy watching documentaries or reading about new discoveries, especially in physics and emerging technologies. Fashion is another passion of mine; I see it as a fun and creative way to express myself. Lately, I’ve been exploring photography and enjoy capturing everyday moments that feel meaningful or beautiful. Whether it’s a walk in nature, a new idea to explore, or just putting together an outfit I love, I’m happiest when I’m combining curiosity and creativity.
