About
Hi, my name is Naheemah Salaam and I am from the Southern area of Philadelphia. I was educated in the Philadelphia Public and Charter school system. I graduated from Universal Audenried Charter High in the year 2012, which was the first graduating class of the school. I graduated with a 3.5 GPA. I received a $2,500 scholarship from then State Representative Kenyatta Johnson, who is now City Councilman of the city of Philadelphia. While attending Audenried, I majored in Health Technology. I am an alumni of the Lincoln University Upward Bound Program. During my 10th grade year I coordinated my and the schools first health and information fair. I also founded and started my own mentoring program called Young Girls to Women, during my senior year. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior March 9, 2009. I am an active member at my church Segula Ministries for 7 years now. I started out as just a member, then an usher, following Jr. Assistant Data Recorder, and now I am the church coordinator for the church outings. Now I am a 2nd year sophomore at Millersville University as a Psychology major. I am an active member of the Millersville University Gospel Choir, Bible Campus Ministries(BCM), and Young Sisters in Christ(YSC).
