About

Aloha!

My name is Najja Wells. I am originally from Los Angeles and grew up in the Antelope Valley, but now live in Hawai‘i. I'm completing my MBA at Chaminade University of Honolulu after obtaining a Bachelor and Associate degree more than a decade ago. I also work at Chaminade University as the Program Manager for the College of Nursing and Health Professions, where I help prepare students to become compassionate and skilled healthcare professionals who will serve communities across the islands.

I come from a big and beautiful family. I am the third of four sisters, and recently became an auntie to the sweetest and most handsome little nephew. He brings so much joy to my life and inspires me every day.

I am a proud "Diabaddie" living with Type 1 Diabetes and thriving. My passion for education, equity, and community advocacy guides everything I do. In my free time, things like Latin dancing, sound baths, moonlight yoga, and local concerts or theatre keep me grounded, creative, and connected. I am excited for the opportunities ahead and grateful for every chance to grow and uplift my community.

Mahalo for taking the time to learn a little about me.
