About

I am a dedicated college student, full-time professional, mother, and community leader committed to continuing my education and making a positive impact on those around me. I currently work as the Superintendent Secretary for Hereford ISD while pursuing my education in Psychology. Service and leadership are important parts of my life. I serve as Secretary on the Hereford ISD Educational Foundation Board, a member of the Hereford Lions Club, and serve on the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension 4-H Leadership Advisory Board, helping strengthen connections with students and families. Balancing my education, career, family, and community involvement has taught me perseverance, discipline, and the importance of continuing to grow even when the path is challenging. My goal is to earn my bachelor's degree in Psychology and continue developing as a leader while using my education and experiences to serve others and create meaningful opportunities for my family and community.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor and work in the mental health field. I hope to use my education in psychology to support individuals and families facing personal challenges and help connect them with the resources, guidance, and encouragement they need to improve their overall well-being.

Graduate school interests

After completing my bachelor's degree in Psychology, I plan to pursue a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related counseling field. My goal is to continue developing my knowledge of mental health and human behavior and work toward becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with a focus on helping individuals and families overcome challenges and improve their overall well-being.

Outside the classroom

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, attending my children's activities, volunteering in my community, and meeting new people. I also enjoy learning new things, working on personal and professional goals, and finding opportunities to give back to my community.
