Honors and awards

Sterling Scholar

I received the Sterling Scholar award at the high school level during my senior year. It honored my dance abilities, my dance background and my hard work in the field of dance.
National Junior Honor Society

I was a member of the national junior honor society from the 7th to 9th grade. It involved volunteer work, scholarship opportunities, recognition of those who excelled in honors, and enhanced leadership abilities.
Golden "E" Award

The "Golden E Award" was given to those who maintained a 3.75 or higher throughout all 3 years of junior high school.
National Honor Society of Dance Arts

This society recognizes dance students with exceptional artistic and academic achievement. I was noted for this and inducted during my senior year of high school.

Career goal: Undecided.
Graduate school interests: My interests during and after high school consisted of dance, drill, geography, psychology, anthropology, and culture.

I currently work for Starbucks. I have always had an interest in drink-making, so I partook in this coffee journey. It has definitely been a love-hate relationship, but I am grateful for the experience.

During my time at this job, I practiced customer service skills, attending to customers of all backgrounds, and excelling in drink making. It was a great first job experience and to this day, I still go and visit.
