By the way of background, I was Plant and Wildlife Science Major (emphasis in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation) Brigham Young University (BYU). I was also a Division-I NCAA athlete representing BYU on its nationally-ranked Women’s Soccer Team. I was involved in many different clubs and organizations on campus both for academics and athletics.
Now I am earning my Master's Degree from Miami University as a Project Dragonfly Student - Partnered with San Diego Zoo & Wildlife Alliance. I am currently working full-time as a Wildlife Care Specialist at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park caring for the cheetahs. I have had experience working for other zoological institutions across the U.S. such as: Memphis Zoo, Loveland Living Aquarium etc.
