Natalie DeLeon

As a freshmen at The Ohio State University, I chose to peruse a degree under the Sociology field of study. With a major in Criminal Justice and Criminology I intend to eventually become a forensic scientists. However, before I begin that career path I will begin my first career in the United States Military. I was selected for the PLC (Platoon Leaders Class) program, which assures that I will commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps as an intelligence officer upon graduating in May 2019. After commissioning in May 2019 I will serve my country in the Marine Corps for five years.

As of right now I am currently thinking about possibly going to Law School for graduate school.

One of my hobbies is staying active. I enjoy participating in physical activities on a regular basis and I make it a priority in my life. Being active is one thing that I do for me that makes me happy and helps to complete my day. Additionally, activity is my outlet to relieve stress and is the time that I classify as my time for me. I cannot imagine not being able to be active on a regular basis. It is essential to my overall well being and happiness. Furthermore, another one of my hobbies is volunteering. I get great satisfaction out of helping others in need. I try and volunteer for as many things that I am capable of because it is important to me that those who can help others help. I have always been a kind and considerate person and I would rather do something for someone else then myself.
