Naud Ghebre

My name is Naud Ghebre and I am a first year student at Georgia Institute of Technology double majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. Though I am a first year, I have junior status, as I am coming from an early college program that has allowed me to come in with 62 college credits earned as a high school student at a local college in Clarkston (Georgia Perimeter College). I am a proud graduate from Georgia Perimeter College, attaining an Associates of Arts in Mathematics by the age of 18. I intend on graduating from Georgia Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and one in Computer Science so that I may be at the forefront of designing machinery for companies to help with efficiency, energy, etc. I would like to pursue an MBA directly after getting my BS in order to flourish my entrepreneurial side and better study how I may incorporate it into my career as an engineer. Any further studies in school is still up in the air, but for now those are my plans. I was born and raised iin Stone Mountain, GA and I enjoy playing soccer, working in teams, and doing independent study in mathematics, one of my favorite subjects ever since middle school.
