This Educators Philosophy

I believe that the classroom should be a safe place for children to express themselves freely; whether it is through their creativity in their art or expressing how they feel by using their words. For a lot of children, school is the most stable and structured place that they have going on in their lives. A teachers’ main goal should not be to just to teach the child education, but to also teach them the social and emotional parts of life.
I think the overall purpose of education is to create a group of children that will grow up to become decent adults in society. The student plays an important part in their own lives because they are the ones who get to decide if they want to learn. The students choose to put a little bit of hard work and focus they will learn that they can do anything they want, if they just put effort and try. The teachers’ role in a student’s education is to guide them to have as much knowledge as possible and to help them become the strongest lifelong learners they can be.
As a teacher, I want to understand the curriculum in as many ways as possible and implement differentiation in my classroom. As the students grow, they become more independent and mature to eventually become their own individual. I hope I could lift my students and support them in all their learning adventures.
