About

I am a first generation student that attends a university in my family. At the same time, I am an active duty spouse stationed in Fort Stewart, GA, mother of three big children, and a former Senior at Georgia Southern University. After postponing my studies to dedicate my life to raising my children (back in the year 2000), I promised myself that once my youngest child was old enough, I was going to start college to further my education. It has been a rough road with bumps and broken pavements but still pushing through. My passion is to become a Physician Assistant and specialize in general surgery on day. Until I end up where I belong, I will not stop, whether it takes me more than the usual time period to graduate. I will continue no matter what because goal are dreams with deadlines.

Goals and interests

Career goal

I intend to work in the Healthcare field as a Physician Assistant in general surgery (when I do my specialty as well), whether it is in a hospital, clinic, private office or VA clinic.

Graduate school interests

Once I graduate from Georgia Southern University with a BS in Health Science, I am interested in graduating from South University Savannah or Tampa campus. Being an active duty military spouse makes it hard to choose a PA grad school of my preference. I think that my only focus is to get into any grad school where I can graduate as a Physician Assistant, this is my only focus.

Outside the classroom

I love to read, dance salsa, go camping, play volleyball, socialize with people opposite of my culture, and try different foods. Despite that I am an extrovert, I also like to spend a lot of time embracing the beauty of nature.
