Neelamjit Sahota

Hello, my name is Neelamjit (Neelam) and I'm honored in being a part of the Honors Society. My achiements include: graduating high school and earning a Diploma, going to Diablo Valley College studying Psychology, Sociology and Criminal Justice. I have received my Psychology and Sociology AA's, and I'm currently working on my AA and certificates of Achievement/and being a specialist for Criminal Justice. I'm attending both DVC and CSUEB, but it's my first quarter at CSUEB as a transfer student and I'm honored to be a part of the Pioneer Pride. I also work full time at Walgreens as a Pharmacy Technician along with going to school full time. My Goal is to strive for whatever I am capable of even if I stumble across obstacles. When I started out at DVC I was never focused on school I was always worried about everything else. Just these past few semesters at DVC I have been on a road to success. My GPA certainly does not show that but that is because of slacking off and not wanting to do what's best in the beginning. I hope that by having the opportunity to be part of the honor society and being a member of this society, I will be able to prove how capable I am and how important my education is to me Along with my career.
