Volunteering

I started volunteering alongside CREW in 2019. This is a local organization that supports foster families in the first 72 hours of a placement by providing three hot meals, diapers, clothes, toys, car seats, and everything they might need. My role is to deliver those items to those families, go shopping, and make food. The amount of hugs and "thank you" I have gotten from those children who have had nothing makes the midnight runs worth it.
