About
I was accepted into the Honors College for the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. I volunteer regularly and participate in the Pre-Veterinary Medical Association club. Although my intended major is nursing, I have a passion for animals and rescue shelters. I also maintain a part time job as an aerobics instructor. I prepare and learn new routines to teach my customers throughout the week. It is one of the most rewarding jobs and I see positive results every day.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
My father is a transport nurse for WakeMed in Raleigh, North Carolina. He comes home after every shift feeling like he has made a difference, which is exactly how I wish to spend my life. I want to be a pediatric transport nurse, which means intensive care unit and emergency practice right out of college.
- Graduate school interests
After some experience in the field of nursing, I think it would be beneficial to go back to graduate school to get a degree as a nurse practitioner. Right now I would like to work with the pediatric departments, but I may change my mind with the more I work in the field.
- Outside the classroom
I really enjoy knitting, preferably blankets. Giving them away a presents for birthdays, Christmas, or Chanukah is typically what I do. This way people can be warm for the winter months.
I also read incessantly. My genre of choice is romantic fantasies, though sometimes I read science fiction novels or just plain fantasies. I'm currently taking a mythology course which allows me to read fascinating stories and be graded on it!
Another thing I enjoy is exercise. This allows me to release my stress from classes and homework and also keeps me fit. Health is one thing that I supremely value; it's nice to be able to work as an aerobics instructor so I can share this with others.
