Goals and interests
- Career goal
My intended career path is to become a nurse leader who combines compassionate patient care with strong healthcare operations and leadership experience. I plan to build a career in nursing that allows me to advocate for patients, support families during vulnerable moments, and contribute to improving healthcare systems and patient outcomes.
With my background in healthcare operations and leadership, I am especially interested in advancing into roles that bridge clinical care and healthcare management, such as nurse leadership, care coordination, clinical operations, or healthcare administration. My long-term goal is to make a meaningful impact in healthcare by leading with empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Graduate school interests
My graduate school interests are centered around advancing my knowledge in nursing, patient advocacy, and healthcare leadership while making a meaningful impact on the lives of others. Through my personal experiences as a caregiver for both my father and grandmother, as well as my professional background in healthcare operations, I developed a deep passion for compassionate, patient-centered care and improving healthcare experiences for individuals and families navigating complex systems.
As a future nurse, I am especially interested in developing strong clinical judgment, leadership skills, and the ability to provide holistic care to diverse patient populations. My long-term goal is to combine my healthcare leadership experience with advanced nursing education to become a nurse leader who advocates for quality care, health equity, and improved patient outcomes. Graduate school represents an opportunity for me to continue growing academically and professionally while building a stable, purpose-driven career that allows me to serve others and inspire resilience within my community and family.
