About

I am currently an international student from Turkey
now at Bergen Community College taking a major in Economics. I moved to the USA four years ago.

Career goal: My chosen field of interest is economics, as I believe it is a good fit for my future plans as this major is related the areas I want to work, like nonprofit organizations such as the United Nations, UNICEF, or the World Food Programme in order to make a difference in the world in the fight against starvation, poverty, injustice, and human and women’s rights violations.
Graduate school interests: I have an interest in pursuing my Master's and Phd Degrees after I finish my academic program.
Outside the classroom: In my free time, I enjoy reading books, keeping a journal, and writing short dialogues and stories. In addition, I spend a lot of time walking, biking, swimming, and exercising to stay healthy mentally and physically.

I volunteered in the Turkish Red Cross when I was living in Turkey. My responsibility was to encourage people for blood donations, inform them about the donation process and explain to them that also donating blood has many benefits for their health.
