About
Hello! My name is Noah Wells, a sophmore attending Northwest Mississippi Community College. I've been living in Mississippi the past 4 years but have lived all over the country including Tennessee, Colorado, Texas, Washington, Arizona, and Missouri. I love learning new things and so college was a good match for me and I've always been a good student. I'm studying Biology currently and will almost be done with my associates degree this summer.

Goals and interests
- Career goal
I am still trying to figure out what I want as a career but I knew I couldn't sit around after high school and decided to pursue the subject I loved which was biology. It's an amazing field but the main delema is that there are so many career paths tied to it that it's hard to choose. The medical field, vetinary school, scientific research, and teaching just to name a few. Currently I'm trying to test out different careers to see what I like and which I want to pursue. I know a radiologist at Baptist Memorial Hostipal in my home town and am currently working on getting a job there to see if the medical field interests me at all.
- Graduate school interests
Currently I am attending Northwest Mississippi Community College and intent to transfer to The University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) next fall to continue by Bachelor's of Science in Biology. This was partly for financial reasons and partly because I've lived there the last 4 years and have lots of family in town, including grandparents which I would like to see as much as possible since they are getting older. It will be exiting to be at more prestigious university where there are lots more clubs and people of similar interests that I can connect to.
- Outside the classroom
I love trying new things and hobbies which is where lots of my free time goes. Over the years I've practiced art, drumming, running, carpentry, reading, mountain biking, cooking, swimming, and of course playing games with friends. Those include Dungeons and Dragons, which uses lots of creative, artistic elements and acting, as well as competative pokemon. Unlike the regular kids game, the competative version is much like a game of chess. To put into perspective, chess has 10^120 possible moves in the entire game and pokemon has 10^218 factors that can happen in the first turn. It is a very intense strategy game when all other factors besides battle are taken away.

Volunteering
-
While I do not do any official volunteering, my father and grandfather love construction and I have helped with a variety of projects including building fences, desks, shelves, additional house rooms, electrical work, and insulation. In addition to this I go to my grandparents house once a week to talk with them and help with anything they need around the house
