About

My name is Noel, and I’m currently working toward graduating with honors from WNC with an Associate of Arts in Education. I’ve recently joined the National Honor Society and am also completing an Associate of General Studies so I can graduate with two degrees this November.
As both a student and a mom, this journey has been one of balance, resilience, and personal growth. I’m passionate about creating learning environments that support and empower young students, and I’m especially interested in roles that allow me to support children’s development in the early elementary years. My goal is to continue my education at Grand Canyon University and ultimately pursue a career as a teacher or educational specialist working with young learners.
Outside of school, I enjoy camping and spending time in nature, which gives me a chance to unwind, reflect, and connect with what matters most. Every step I’ve taken in this journey has brought me closer to building a meaningful future for myself, my family and my friends.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My long-term goal is to pursue a career in education, with a focus on supporting young learners during their early elementary years. I’m especially drawn to roles that allow me to create positive, engaging learning environments where students feel seen, supported, and inspired. Whether in a classroom setting or through specialized instructional support, I hope to make a lasting difference in how children grow, learn, and thrive. After completing my degrees at WNC, I plan to transfer to Grand Canyon University to further my education and prepare for certification in the teaching field.

Graduate school interests

After completing my associate degrees and transferring to Grand Canyon University, I plan to pursue graduate studies in education. I'm especially interested in programs that focus on curriculum design, classroom innovation, or educational leadership—areas where I can expand my skill set and support students through engaging, inclusive instruction. Graduate school will be an important step in refining my vision as an educator and building a career centered on purpose, creativity, and growth.

Outside the classroom

In my free time, I enjoy photography, camping, and spending meaningful time with family and friends. Photography allows me to express creativity and capture everyday moments that tell a story. Camping is my way of unplugging and recharging—there’s something grounding about being surrounded by nature. Above all, time with loved ones keeps me centered and motivated, reminding me what I’m working for.
