About

I have a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota and a Master's in Environmental Science and Engineering from Stuttgart University, Germany. Currently I am pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Database Administration and Management at North Central Texas College. With my academic background I wish to have a career in environmental monitoring that incorporates the usage of geodata and drones. Education and the pursuit for knowledge have driven me to explore cultures and dive into their traditions. Knowledge to me is to be practiced anywhere globally thus I seek skills that open not only local but global career opportunities. Not asking for leas problems but for better skills have been my motto when challenged, therefore, I do my best when challenged or when I am told "you can't do it". My goal in life is to be a successful person while preserving myself because I believe that excellence is achieved by authenticity and networking.

Goals and interests

Career goal

My intended career path is to become a Geodatamanager /Architect in the field of environmental sciences, particularly micropollutants removal. To have the skills to build a database for the different micropollutants as well as mapping their fate in water, air and soil was a goal set after ending my position as a research scientist in the field of hydrochemistry. I learned that Geographic Information System (GIS) is an important tool for environmental monitoring and assessment building, therefore, I chose to enhance my skills and advance my knowledge in the computer science field. My undergraduate studies were in Chemistry followed by a master's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering focusing in waste treatment and removal. A career that combines the different fields of my studies and GIS and Geodata would be ideal.
