About

My name is Nurul Yaqin. I am a doctoral candidate in MSLT (Mathematics Science and Learning Technology) in College of Education, University of Massachusetts Amherst, MA 01003. Now I am in the process/step of writing dissertation that I plan to defend in the next academic year. My dissertation is about how to increase students' mathematical problem-solving skill through enhancing their spatial visualization skills by learning three-dimensional geometry with technology. From my dissertation we will know that ability and achievement in three-dimensional geometry is very important in where now many teachers don't like to teach it due to using limited traditional tools. Because of that my dissertation will be unique because I am defending on the importance of learning three-dimensional geometry by introducing alternative tools/technology that makes learning three-dimensional geometry interesting.
