Majorly, I wouldn't say my experiences are a typical teen's experience and have forced me to grow and understand things at a much quicker pace than most might have the time to. I do want to note everyone's different and this is not me trying to compare myself to others as worse or better; However, I still believe that the extreme experiences I was handed out during an earlier age have majorly tested my perseverance and mindset, helping me grow and learn vital things to being an adult and having independence. I do have more therapy than most under my belt at almost 18 years old and have been a critical and analytical thinker since I was a kid. I try to be humble and others around me to the best of my ability as the end goal is forever changing in understanding myself and the world around me. I think these things I have learned whether academically, scheduling, or work ethic-wise will help tremendously throughout college. I have learned how to pick myself up from my darkest moments and I trust that when I make mistakes I can learn from it and ultimately make a better decision for myself moving forward. I trust I can adapt to change even in the hardest moments.
