Oluwafisayomi Dada

As an aspiring clinical psychologist with a focus on child and adolescent therapy, I intend to work in clinical practice settings. This could include private practices, community mental health centers, hospitals, schools, or specialized clinics where I offer individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and assessments to children and adolescents with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and developmental issues. In addition to delivering direct therapy services, I will have the opportunity to participate in preventative and early intervention programs aimed at raising mental health awareness, decreasing stigma, and addressing risk factors linked with prevalent mental health concerns among children and adolescents. This may include giving psychoeducational seminars, establishing school-based preventative initiatives, and campaigning for legislation that promotes young people's emotional well-being.

I plan on pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology with a specialization in child and adolescent therapy, working with children and adolescents, and addressing issues such as developmental disorders, behavioral problems, and family dynamics. Also learning how to use CBT for treatment
