About

I am passionate about mental health and natural lifestyle treatments. I grew up with a brother and father who are diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Both of them were medicated with multiple SSRIs, SNRI, benzodiazepines and anti-psychotics. I had front row seats to the pain, confusion, and watching my family financially struggle trying to find an answer. Ive always believed that kind words, love, and a possitive environment would be much more beneficial, and volunteering at Van Go I got to see it for myself successfully. My motivation and goal is to reach out and help those who need it. In my perspective, individuals who have needed treatment such as my father, can't afford it. My mission is to find ways to make healthy lifestyle treatments available for everyone.
With that being said, I am applying for graduate school at the University of Emporia State to be apart of the Art Therapy and Counseling program. I am looking forward to learning how to help people, and the people affected by hurting loved ones.
