Paige Young

I intend to complete nursing school and receive my degree from the University of Kentucky in the spring of May 2018. I want to work with children, ideally in a large children's hospital that has floors dedicated to different aspects of health and disease. I plan to specialize in pediatric endocrinology and work on a diabetic floor in a children's hospital. I chose this path because I was diagnosed with Type I diabetes at the age of seven and I feel that it is my calling to work with children who are going through what I went through.

I am still debating whether or not I want to go onto graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. If I chose to do so I want to complete this at the University of Florida.
