This award is given once a month to four students from either the 7th or 8th grade that exemplifies student leadership and meets the criteria of their school pride (Perserverance, Respect, Intergrity, Diligence, Empathy) to both their advisors and peers.

This award was given to only one student that shows qualities of the legendary activist Dr. Martin Luther King by demonstrating their passion for justice and displaying a kind character to those around them with meaningful intentions.

Christine Olbermann (Student of the Year) Award 2018
Honoring a teacher who left too soon, this award is presented to only one student a year who exemplifies what it means to be a true leader and inspires others. A special school wide ceremony is given to honor this prestigious award.

Most Improved Award 2020
This is given to one marching band student a year who has been seen to make dramatic improvements to their music, marching, and leading skills since the previous season. As musical talents come with difficulty, receiving this award is respected by many.
